Currents Festival
Rebranding
A rebrand for Currents New Media Festival, a contemporary art festival in Santa Fe exploring the
intersection of art and emerging technology. The identity is designed as an evolving system shaped by
flow, signal, and interaction, reflecting the festival’s immersive and experimental nature.

Logo

The Currents festival logo is designed as a flexible system rather than a fixed mark. Using adjustable parameters such as frequency, depth, thickness, speed, and scale, the wave-based form can continuously shift while maintaining its core structure. The logo can also react to live audio input, allowing sound to directly influence its movement and texture. This system-based approach makes the logo adaptable and expressive, turning it into a responsive visual instrument rather than a fixed graphic.
